About Jorge Jiménez

Jorge Jiménez focuses on energy and natural resources, infrastructure, M&A, project finance and antitrust at Dentons López Velarde SC. He has advised international oil and gas operators in their participation in bidding rounds called by Mexico’s National Hydrocarbons Commission and he has assisted Tecpetrol since 2001 in the risk assessment of its entry into Mexico. He has advised oilfield service companies in the provision of services to PEMEX and he assisted a major European developer in the assessment of projects in Mexico’s midstream oil and gas sector. Jorge assisted as counsel for lenders in the USD750 million non-recourse project financing of the Manzanillo LNG Terminal. He is the director of the Mexico Subchapter of the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators.
