About José María Ortíz

José María Ortíz is a senior associate in the M&A department of Deloitte Abogados y Asesores Tributarios and has over seven years of professional expertise. He has advised on numerous transactions and participated in the drafting, negotiation and execution of SPAs, shareholders’ agreements and corporate restructuring transactions in both national and cross-border transactions, while also managing due diligence processes for diverse clients. He has also participated in M&A transactions in the energy sector. He completed his university studies and Master’s in Law at IE Business School. Additionally, he completed a common law degree and postgraduate degree (LPC) at the University of Law. He is a member of the Madrid Bar Association.
