About Jay Handlin

Jay Handlin is a partner at WMD and has more than 40 years’ experience litigating complex commercial disputes, trying cases, and arguing appeals in state and federal courts, regulatory proceedings, and arbitrations. He has broad experience in antitrust matters in industries as varied as professional sports, satellite communications, electronic payment systems and healthcare, and more generally in high-profile litigation involving class actions, structured finance, securities, corporate governance, entertainment and intellectual property. He was in-house counsel for The Walt Disney Company, and began his career as a judicial clerk to the Hon. Jon O. Newman of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
