About Jan Buschmann

Jan Buschmann is an international counsel in Debevoise’s Hong Kong office and is a member of the corporate department and the insurance M&A group. He has extensive experience in advising on insurance transactions and regulation. Jan joined Debevoise in 2018 from another leading international law firm, where he advised global insurance companies, banks and other financial institutions on corporate transactions and the full range of regulatory matters. He also has particular expertise in complex reinsurance arrangements and regulatory capital issues. Jan is admitted to practice as a solicitor in Hong Kong and in England and Wales.
