About Jiří Melkus

Jiří Melkus is, with Pavel Kejla, a managing partner of Melkus Kejla & Partners. A disputes specialist, he acts in judicial, arbitral, administrative and criminal proceedings before all Czech courts and regulators, and has represented the country’s largest private broadcaster. His landmark results include the Supreme Administrative Court’s annulment of the highest-ever penalty on a broadcaster, the highest-ever personal-rights award to an individual, and a Court of Justice of the European Union ruling in his client’s favour. He has been a member of the Czech Bar since 2011.
