Juan Alonso Berberena is counsel in the employment law department at Eversheds Sutherland’s Madrid office. He specialises in advising national and international clients on employment and social security matters. With more than 30 years of experience, he has expertise on workforce restructuring processes, collective bargaining, the implementation of remuneration systems, and addressing employment-related implications of corporate reorganisations, mergers, and acquisitions. He also has extensive experience in litigation before labour courts and administrative bodies. Additionally, Juan advises on labour compliance, occupational risk prevention, and the drafting of contracts and internal policies.
