About Juan Rodrigo Pimentel

Juan Rodrigo Pimentel is of counsel and head of the Patent department at Arochi & Lindner Mexico. With a multidisciplinary background in engineering and law, he advises on patents, utility models, industrial designs, patentability analyses, freedom-to-operate opinions and patent litigation. He also has extensive experience in technology transfer, portfolio management, innovation strategy and patent valuation. A WIPO technical consultant, he currently leads the update of the Andean Community Patent Examination Manual and teaches intellectual property law for engineers at the graduate level.
