About Jörn Witt

Jörn Witt is a partner located at the CMS Hamburg office, a member of the CMS life sciences/intellectual property team and co-head of the cannabis subgroup of the World Law Group. His clients are mainly globally active pharmaceutical and medical device companies. He advises on regulatory issues, competition law and corporate business development, life sciences agreements and transactions in the life sciences sector. Jörn’s focus is on advising on regulatory issues concerning the liberalisation of the market for medicinal cannabis (such as regulatory structures for new businesses, applications for authorisations and advertising) and CBD products. His latest publication is “Comment on the judgment ECJ C-663/18 (A&R 2020, 284)”.
