About Omer Ali Abdelrahman

Omer Ali Abdelrahman is the founder of Omer Ali Law Firm, and holds the following: Bachelor of Laws (LLB), Faculty of Law, University of Khartoum, Sudan, 1980; Master of Laws (LLM), Commercial and Corporate Law, Queen Mary and Westfield College, University of London, 1997; and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, 2004. He is a member of the Sudanese Bar, and started his legal career in 1980, with practice as a lawyer/in-house legal adviser in Sudan, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and the UK. He taught law at the Faculty of Law, University of Khartoum (2010 to 2015) and is a member of the Africa Legal Network (ALN), an independent alliance of leading law firms in Africa.
