About Olav Kolstad

Olav Kolstad is among the leading experts in competition law in Norway. Olav has a strong academic background, having previously held a professorship in competition law at the University of Oslo, and is the author of one of the standard references in Norwegian competition law. As counsel, Olav has broad experience in handling antitrust cases before the courts and the Competition Appeal Tribunal, as well as extensive experience in both antitrust and merger control matters before the Norwegian Competition Authority. Olav has also assisted clients in cases before the European Commission, and before the CMA in UK. Olav joined BAHR as a partner in 2026.
