About Oleg Efrim

Oleg Efrim is the managing partner of Efrim Rosca Asociatii, and is a leading expert in M&A and corporate and commercial law, advising on complex transactions in regulated sectors such as banking and insurance. As the Minister of Justice (2011–2015), he led the modernisation of Moldova’s Civil Code, creating one of the most advanced civil law systems in the region. He has played an active role in key reforms to align corporate law with EU standards, including the overhaul of the Law on Limited Liability Companies. Combining strategic policy knowledge with strong transactional skills, he teaches “Development of Skills in M&A Transactions” and “Civil Law – Contracts” at Moldova State University.
