About Lisa McClory

Lisa McClory is of counsel at CMS in London and a lawyer-technologist specialising in AI law, governance and applied compliance. She advises boards, legal, product and engineering teams on the EU AI Act, data protection, cyber and AI risk frameworks, helping organisations embed compliance by design into AI development and deployment. She co-designed and delivered CMS's Practical AI Literacy for Lawyers programme, is currently a member of the Civil Justice Council Working Group on AI, and works across AI governance, automated decision-making, responsible AI, AI in financial services, and the interaction between AI, data and emerging technology regulation. Her wider practice also covers crypto, quantum and other advanced technologies.
