About Matthias Rothkopf

Matthias Rothkopf is a counsel at Hengeler Mueller. He advises on German and European intellectual property law and competition law, including in particular technology-related aspects of intellectual property law, technology licensing, and research and development agreements. He represents clients before all German courts as well as before German and European competition authorities. Matthias regularly advises investors on intellectual property and licensing-related aspects of M&A transactions, including complex IP carve-outs and IP dual-use issues as well as the evaluation of threats from IP litigation and new types of IP use.
