About Mauricio Pava Lugo

Mauricio Pava Lugo is the founding partner of MPA/PDA and an ad hoc judge of the Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice. He focuses on complex criminal litigation, white-collar investigations, corporate defence, compliance and punitive risk management. Mauricio currently serves on the board of directors of Infimanisales and previously served on the boards of Bancóldex and Colombia’s National Penitentiary and Prison Institute. He undertook advanced studies in compliance at the University of Barcelona and in strategic litigation and human rights at American University. He is also a columnist for El Tiempo and a co-founder of Ariel.
