, an associate and a member of the M&A and restructuring and insolvency practice, has participated in the drafting of reorganisation plans for several major Czech industrial companies. In accordance with his expertise, he has also prepared financing documentation for the operation of plants under insolvency, including off balance sheet financing. Marek is recognised by clients and colleagues as a rising star in the field of insolvency and restructuring, mainly for his experience in assisting clients during insolvency proceedings and advising clients in cases of distressed transactions. Marek, who speaks Czech and English, is a member of the Czech Bar Association, having graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Economics in Prague and subsequently from the Faculty of Law at Charles University in Prague.
