Mario Prado Mora is the CEO and founding partner of Prado Law Firm, where he provides general legal advice, with a special emphasis on corporate tax, private and public procurement, and telecommunications. During his time in the Public Administration, he served as Undersecretary of Legal Affairs, where he provided legal advice in all matters related to the management of public finances in Ecuador. He was responsible for designing, proposing, exhibiting and supporting the bill called "For the Reform of Public Finances"; in addition, he represented the President in the process of the approval of the Law on the Legislative Function. He also served as a board member of the Central Bank of Ecuador by appointment of the National Congress (1999-2000) and as legal adviser of the Investment Technical Commission of the Ecuadorian Social Security Institute.
