Mariana Tavares
is counsel at Antas da Cunha Ecija, specialising in EU law, competition, and regulation. She holds a PhD from King’s College London and has served as a référendaire at the Court of Justice of the EU and a director at the Portuguese Competition Authority. Mariana advises the UN on competition law and engages with international regulatory networks. A co-author of The Law and Politics of Global Competition, she also lectures at Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
