About Martin Sztefek

Martin Sztefek has been with JŠK since 2016 and is a managing associate. He focuses primarily on dispute resolution, including both litigation and arbitration, with a particular emphasis on insurance and construction disputes. He also advises on contractual and corporate law and has experience in energy law. Martin graduated from the Faculty of Law, Charles University, in 2014 and earned an LLM from the University of Michigan Law School, Ann Arbor, in 2017. During his Master’s degree, he spent a semester at the University of Ghent. In 2020, he completed his PhD at the Faculty of Law, Charles University. He is recognised for his work handling complex insurance-related disputes.
