Mei Fern Johnson is a partner at Russell McVeagh. She is a multi-award-winning lawyer with 25 years’ experience advising on energy, infrastructure, technology and transport projects. Mei Fern’s energy projects include renewable energy generation, BESS, contribution to policy development for regulatory regimes for offshore renewable energy, and investments in oil and gas. Mei Fern is the lead editor for Russell McVeagh's popular Energy Blog. She was director of the National Infrastructure Funding and Financing Limited (formerly Crown Infrastructure Partners) with NZD3.9 billion in investment and a member of the Capital and Infrastructure Board Committee for Health New Zealand Te Whatu Ora, which runs the New Zealand health system.
