About Michael Van Arsdall

Michael Van Arsdall is a partner in the antitrust group at Clifford Chance in Washington, DC. Michael’s practice involves antitrust counselling on a wide variety of subjects, with particular focus on transactional antitrust matters such as mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures. He has guided numerous complicated transactions through the US and foreign antitrust/competition review process. Michael has experience in some of the largest and most significant transactions in the aerospace, telecommunications, consumer products, healthcare and online advertising industries. Michael also regularly advises clients in connection with civil non-merger conduct investigations. Michael has represented clients before the US Department of Justice, Antitrust Division, the Federal Trade Commission, the European Commission, the Federal Communications Commission, the Department of Defense, and many state attorneys general.
