About Naoko Takasaki

Naoko Takasaki is a special counsel at Anderson Mori & Tomotsune, advising governments and private entities on WTO, FTA/EPA, trade remedies, sanctions and export control matters. Drawing on her eight years at the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Naoko combines government-side policy expertise with private-practice experience in international trade and economic security. She has served as lead counsel in several WTO dispute settlement proceedings, including cases concerning the WTO’s national security exceptions. Her current practice includes advising on export controls, including technology transfers.
