About Sayeda Silma Tamanina

Sayeda Silma Tamanina is managing partner of Khan Tamanina & Co and an advocate of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh. A barrister-at-law and LLM graduate of SOAS, she has a broad commercial practice covering energy and infrastructure, corporate and commercial, banking and finance, regulatory, property and disputes matters. Her clients include public-sector institutions, including Petrobangla concerns and other power sector entities, as well as multinational companies, investors, banks and private businesses. Her work ranges from handling complex transactions, project documentation and regulatory matters to high-stakes litigation and domestic and international arbitration, including BERC, UNCITRAL, ICSID and ICC proceedings.
