About Scott Beeser

Scott Beeser is a partner in Blaney McMurtry LLP’ and IP litigator with almost 25 years of experience. Scott has a PhD in biology from the University of Utah, which allows him to bring advanced scientific expertise to his legal practice. His client-focused approach has been shaped by experience in both private practice and in-house IP counsel roles. He has significant first-chair trial and appeal experience in the pharmaceutical and information technology sectors, including a number of precedent-setting decisions. Scott is a registered Canadian patent and trademark agent and has an active patent procurement practice, representing clients before the Canadian Intellectual Property Office.
