About Shogo Sashihara

Shogo Sashihara is a partner at Abe, Ikubo & Katayama, having joined the firm in 2014. Shogo specialises in high-stakes IP litigation and dispute resolution, with significant experience in cross-border patent disputes. He particularly focuses on patent litigation in the fields of pharma, semiconductors and emerging technology, including AI. He holds an LLM in law, science and technology from Stanford Law School and an IP LLM from Munich Intellectual Property Law Centre. He trained as a visiting attorney at Kirkland & Ellis in Chicago, where he worked on US patent litigation. He is admitted in Japan, New York and Texas.
