About Stephen Tumwesigye

Stephen Tumwesigye is managing partner of TASLAF Advocates, and widely recognised for advising global private equity funds, venture firms, DFIs, and financial institutions on frontier market transactions in East Africa. He specialises in cross-border M&A, fund establishment, syndicated financing, and corporate restructurings, acting as primary legal counsel on high-stakes market entries and regulatory strategy. Stephen holds an LLM from Harvard Law School, is an Advocate of the High Court of Uganda, and maintains active memberships with the Uganda Law Society, East Africa Law Society, and International Bar Association.
