About Svilen Issaev

Svilen Issaev is counsel, head of the Kinstellar’s Sofia banking, finance and capital markets service and firm-wide co-head of the restructuring and insolvency practice. He has more than 20 years of experience, advising some of the largest international and Bulgarian banking and finance institutions on various transactional, regulatory and compliance matters applicable to their business in Bulgaria. Svilen has led Bulgarian work on a number of complex financing transactions as counsel to both lenders and borrowers, advising them on various cross-border and domestic lending and restructuring matters. Svilen is a member of the Sofia Bar Association and the Bulgarian Industrial Pharmacy Association.
