About Syed Mubashir Ali

Syed Mubashir Ali is the general manager overseeing United Trademark & Patent Services’ Middle East operations. A qualified pharmacist, he holds a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Pharmacy and has decades of experience in intellectual property administration and management. He supervises trade mark, patent, design, copyright, enforcement, opposition and litigation matters across the region. Mr Ali co-ordinates client communications, oversees regional teams and ensures effective execution of IP strategies. He also leads staff training and inter-office co-ordination. He has headed the firm’s UAE operations since 1994 and previously served in its Saudi Arabia office.
