She is an expert on IP commercialisation, including licensing and franchising, and the FDA registration of food, cosmetics and pharmaceutical products. She is a past president of the Licensing Executives Society International (2016-2017), being the first Filipino and Southeast Asian to hold the position. Patricia has spoken in many countries and written in many publications on IP licensing in the Philippines, including authoring the Philippines chapter of International Licensing and Technology Transfer: Practice and the Law.
