About Paul Deeringer

Paul Deeringer is a partner in HLB’s San Francisco office, advising health systems, medical groups, and health technology companies on complex transactions and regulatory matters, including digital health. He returned to the firm after almost 14 years in senior leadership at John Muir Health, a USD2.6 billion California integrated health system, most recently as senior vice president and chief strategy officer. That particular operating background gave Paul first-hand insight into how healthcare organisations evaluate and adopt digital health tools, and he combines legal and regulatory depth with executive judgment to deliver practical, efficiently scoped advice on technology-driven transactions and partnerships.
