About Paulo Brancher

Paulo Brancher is a partner at Mattos Filho, specialising in banking and financial services, technology, crypto-assets and innovation. He advises financial institutions and fintechs on regulatory compliance, digital transformation and data protection. A distinguished professor at the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP), he teaches both business law and law and technology. Paulo served on the board of the International Technology Law Association and chaired the Brazilian Association of Information Technology and Communications. He has authored books on software agreements, competition law and IP. He also edits the journal “Business Law in the Digital Economy”. Paulo is recognised for shaping Brazil’s legal frameworks in finance and tech.
