About Petra Carreira

Petra Carreira is a managing associate in the dispute resolution practice of PLMJ. With over 14 years’ experience, she specialises in corporate and commercial litigation, banking and finance and private enforcement of competition law. She regularly advises Portuguese and international clients on class and collective actions. Petra graduated from the Faculty of Law of Universidade Católica Portuguesa and holds an LLM in international transactions from Centro de Estudios Garrigues (in partnership with Fordham University). She also holds a postgraduate qualification in arbitration from the Faculty of Law of Universidade Nova de Lisboa where she attended second postgraduate course in law enforcement, compliance and criminal law and the XVI postgraduate course in competition and regulation.
