About Preben Berge Helverschou

Preben Berge Helverschou is a key member of Kvale's ocean and energy and insurance teams. He assists both Norwegian and international clients with insurance and maritime law issues, and has extensive experience of cover issues, claims, direct action claims and marine casualties. He also advises insurers, insured, and other affected parties on non-marine insurance matters, including in relation to directors and officers liability insurance, warranties and indemnities insurance and other types of liability insurance. He has broad experience advising clients and handling disputes related to insurance under charterparties and other contracts of carriage. Preben also has experience with litigation, including arrest and other asset securing.
