About R. Michael Murphy

R. Michael Murphy is a shareholder in Dentons’ Birmingham office and serves as the chair of the Dentons Sirote corporate practice. His work covers corporate and securities law – in particular, M&A, financial services, private equity and venture capital, regulatory, compliance and risk management, and securities matters. Representative matters include serving as outside counsel to national insurance, banking and financial services organisations; as buyer’s counsel in connection with the acquisition of more than 50 financial service firms by a national financial product distribution firm; and as counsel to both issuers and investors in connection with investments in start-up companies.
