About Robert da Silva Ashley

Robert da Silva Ashley is a partner at DLA Piper and co-chair of the Energy & Natural Resources sector. He is a trusted adviser to international and domestic financial institutions, project sponsors and developers, investment funds and multinational corporations on sophisticated and market-leading complex domestic and cross-border project finance transactions throughout North and Latin America. Robert has extensive experience in the renewable energy, energy transition, infrastructure, hospitality and industrial sectors, guiding clients through the financing of utility-scale wind and solar projects, standalone and co-located battery storage, distributed solar generation, conventional power plants, carbon capture and sequestration facilities, midstream assets, onshore and offshore oil and gas exploration and production, chemical plants, and resorts and hotels across the Americas. Robert also serves as the regional co-leader for the firm’s Latin America practice in the areas of finance, energy, infrastructure and P3.
