About Roman Gutzwiller

Roman Gutzwiller is counsel at Binder Legal and advises companies, boards of directors, executive management, shareholders and public-sector owners on corporate governance and corporate law. He is also a lecturer and postdoctoral researcher at the University of St.Gallen (HSG) and a Research Fellow at its Corporate Governance Competence Centre. His research, including a habilitation project on how shareholders can influence corporate strategy (“say on strategy”), focuses on corporate governance and strategic management. A former entrepreneur, he also brings hands-on leadership experience. He holds a doctorate in law (PhD) from HSG and an MBA from HEC Paris (specialisation in Advanced Management).
