About Rui Gordete Almeida

Rui Gordete Almeida is a senior associate in the ICT practice at VdA. He has been actively involved in a wide range of projects in the ICT field, notably telecommunications, consumer protection, data protection, artificial intelligence, digital identity, cybersecurity and emerging technologies. His work includes responses to public consultations, contract negotiations, preparation of legal memoranda and opinions, litigation, drafting of proposals for various pieces of legislation or regulations. He has worked with several Portuguese-speaking African countries as well as Timor-Leste. Rui is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA).
