Ryan David Williams is the founding partner of Ashbury and an early adopter of blockchain technology. Since 2016, Ryan has advised over 250 blockchain-based projects, earning a national reputation for his pragmatic approach to navigating complex and uncertain regulatory environments. Ryan’s practice is defined by his holistic focus on frontier tech, and defies adherence to traditional practice areas. He regularly advises clients on product design, capital raising, liquidity events, corporate governance, regulatory enforcement and day-to-day operations. Before founding Ashbury, Ryan worked in the Capital Markets Group at Morrison & Foerster and in the Technology Companies Group at Orrick.
