About Wolfgang Richter

Wolfgang Richter is a finance lawyer and economist specialising in fintech, blockchain, cryptocurrencies and AI. With more than 20 years’ leadership experience at leading international law firms, he advises fintech companies, banks, investment managers and corporates on digital transformation, financial regulation, tokenisation, structured finance and M&A transactions. In 2020, Wolfgang became the founding and managing partner for the DACH region at gunnercooke, launching the firm’s first international office. His recent work includes MiCAR token projects, real-world asset tokenisation and crypto payment systems. Wolfgang works alongside Frederik von Essen, Sebastian Förste, Dennis Ivanovic and Martin Liebi in the DACH Crypto team.
