About Waddah Hamed

Waddah Hamed is a partner at Basrah Obelisk Law Firm Ltd and has been a member of the Iraqi Bar Association since 2013, and the Iraqi Jurists Federation since 2016. He has over ten years of experience in corporate law, tax compliance, litigation and regulatory advisory. He advises Iraqi and international clients on corporate structuring, company registration, tax audits, exemptions, settlements and disputes before the General Commission for Taxes and Social Security Department. He represents clients before various Iraqi courts, including appeal and cassation stages in disputes. He holds Master’s degree in Private Law from the Islamic University, Lebanon focusing on commercial contracts compliance matters.
