About William Keefer

William Keefer is a partner at Phillips Lytle and the leader of the corporate practice group and the co-leader of the healthcare and life sciences team. His clients include hospitals, nursing homes, physicians, payers and other healthcare and social services providers. He counsels clients on a broad range of issues, including compliance with fraud and abuse laws, HIPAA, Medicare, Medicaid and New York State Department of Health regulations. He assists clients with structuring arrangements and relationships between healthcare entities organisation governance, contract negotiations, agency actions and federal and state court litigation. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the American Health Lawyers Association, the New York State Bar Association and the Bar Association of Erie County.
