William Long
is a partner at Sidley Austin LLP, where he leads the EU and UK data protection practice and is global co-leader of the firm’s highly ranked privacy and cybersecurity practice. William advises international clients on a wide variety of AI, cyber and digital data laws, as well as data protection, privacy, information security, social media, e-commerce and other regulatory matters. He has been a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP)’s European Advisory Board and on the DataGuidance panel of data protection lawyers.
