He regularly acts for financial institutions and accounting firms, and has advised on major cross-border insolvencies and debt restructurings. Wilson has also recently led arguments in several significant decisions of the Singapore High Court. These include decisions on novel issues such as the voting rights of bondholders and bond trustees in a restructuring, and the powers of judicial managers to make distributions prior to liquidation. Wilson is a regular contributor to the Singapore Academy of Law Journal, and tutors insolvency law for the Singapore Bar examinations.
