About Tomomi Hioki

Tomomi Hioki has extensive experience in regulatory compliance matters involving data, information and communications technology (ICT), and artificial intelligence (AI). She has served as a Councillor of GovTech Tokyo and has served on numerous expert and advisory committees for the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare and other government agencies. Focusing primarily on personal data protection and data- and technology-related matters, she provides comprehensive legal support across a wide range of areas, from the planning stages of business initiatives through to dispute resolution.
