About Tai Foong Lam

Tai Foong Lam is a senior and pioneering Malaysian intellectual property practitioner with over two decades of experience. His practice covers the full spectrum of IP commercial work, including drafting and negotiating complex agreements involving licensing, technology transfer, outsourcing, e-commerce, franchising, research and development and distribution arrangements. He also has extensive experience in IP litigation and enforcement, with several reported cases reflecting his contribution to Malaysian IP jurisprudence. He is widely recognised for his expertise in IT and telecommunications-related IP matters. Actively involved in the profession, he has served on the Bar Council IP Committee and was President of the Malaysian chapter of AIPPI. He was called to the Malaysian Bar in 1995.
