About Takao Shojima

Takao Shojima is a partner of Anderson Mori & Tomotsune who has practiced as a Japanese qualified lawyer for over 20 years. He was admitted to the NY Bar in 2012. Takao has substantial experience in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructuring, and private equity. Recently Takao advised a Japanese listed company to set up a joint venture company using a company split arrangement and has assisted overseas venture capitals to invest in Japanese startups, providing them with a variety of services including the preparation of joint venture agreements, structuring advice, governance advice, and counsel on FDI regulation issues.
