About Takashi Koyama

Takashi Koyama is an attorney at Oh-Ebashi LPC & Partners licensed in both Japan and the State of New York, as well as a registered patent attorney in Japan. He has extensive experience in intellectual property, cross-border transactions, export control, sanctions and foreign direct investment (FDI) issues, life science matters, and dispute resolution, including arbitration. He previously worked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, where he served as a negotiator for the intellectual property, investment, and energy chapters in FTA/EPA negotiations. Later, he became director of the Intellectual Property Affairs Division at the Ministry and acted as the lead negotiator for intellectual property in the TPP, Japan-EU EPA, and RCEP negotiations.
