About Takuya Fuji

Takuya Fuji is a partner and patent attorney in the IP division of Abe, Ikubo & Katayama in Tokyo. His practice focuses on patent prosecution and litigation in the software, electronics and mechanical fields. He has handled a wide range of technologies, including semiconductors, AI-related software, image processing, sports equipment, architectural hardware and automotive components. Prior to joining the firm in 2014, he served in the R&D department of a general contractor and practised at a patent firm. He holds a BS in applied mathematics and is a member of the Japan Patent Attorneys Association.
