About Tarja Pirinen

Tarja Pirinen is a partner at Castrén & Snellman and head of the mining practice. She advises clients on mining, industrial, and infrastructure projects throughout all phases of the project lifecycle. Her expertise covers permitting, agreements related to the acquisition of rights, administrative court proceedings, contractual matters and issues related to nature conservation and environmental liabilities. She also advises clients on transactions and financing arrangements within the mining sector and regularly supports clients with the legal matters related to exploration and mining operations. With over 25 years of experience in legal work in the mining sector, Tarja has advised domestic and international operators on multiple mining projects in Finland.
