Tiago Bessa is head of the ICT practice and partner of IP Transactions at VdA, working on matters across electronic and postal communications, media, entertainment, gaming and technologies. He has deep expertise in digital, copyright, internet and consumer law, contributing to innovative technological projects in Europe and Africa. Tiago has supported governments and regulatory entities in regulatory policy development and legislative drafting, advising organisations such as the International Telecommunications Union, the World Bank and the European Investment Bank. He also represents VdA in WhatNext.Law, an R&D centre dedicated to leveraging the impactful opportunities created by the ongoing digital transition worldwide.
