About Ulrike Ciesla

Ulrike Ciesla is a German and European patent attorney at MLL Legal, holding a PhD in Chemistry. With over 25 years’ experience advising clients in the field of patent law, she has extensive knowledge of examination, opposition and appeal proceedings before the European and German Patent Offices. For the past seven years, Ulrike has focused on patent litigation proceedings before the Swiss Federal Patent Court. She has been involved in cutting-edge litigation relating to pharmaceutical products such as FASLODEX® (fulvestrant), ELIQUIS® (apixaban), NEXAVAR® (sorafenib tosylate), and XARELTO® (rivaroxaban).
